Ace’s Forgotten Places is a blog to share travel stories and photos from out of the way spaces. I enjoy urban exploration, abandoned places, forgotten history, or little known, out of the way experiences and what such history tells us about where we come from while reflecting on the fleeting nature of the present.I’ve found that local history is incredibly colorful and unique as the people who live there, yet also the most easily overlooked and forgotten stories.
This blog is slowly expanding to hold pictures of all sorts of travels, not just forgotten places. I make no claims as to being a skilled photographer. My intent is simply to document what I find, and to try and show the world we often overlook from a unique perspective.
